Ingredients

Servings
  • 2 Tbs ketchup
  • 1 Tbs corn syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vinegar white or white wine
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbs water
  • 2 Tbs sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl with a whisk.
  2. Allow to sit for at least 10 minutes to allow time for the sugar to dissolve.

Notes

  • PRO TIP: Use as a barbecue sauce on the grill! Works great with pork.
  • Use either light or dark corn syrup, works with either.
  • Regular white vinegar or a white wine vinegar works best.
  • Adjust the cinnamon to your preference.
  • The granulated sugar will be "crunchy" until it dissolves in the liquids. This can take up to 10 minutes.
  • Make this sauce a day before for best results.
  • This recipe makes one serving, make more than a single batch and keep in the fridge or use for more people!
