Homemade Creamy Nutella Liqueur

This Homemade Creamy Nutella Liqueur combines Nutella, milk, heavy cream, sugar, and vodka into a smooth, chilled drink with a rich, chocolaty flavor. Heating the Nutella mixture before adding vodka ensures the sugar dissolves and the flavors meld. The liqueur develops its best taste after refrigerating for several days, offering a creamy texture that can be served cold or straight from the freezer.

Description

Homemade Creamy Nutella Liqueur is prepared by dissolving Nutella, milk, heavy cream, and sugar together with gentle heating until the mixture just begins to boil, then cooling it before blending in vodka. This process creates a silky, sweet liqueur with a balanced chocolate and hazelnut profile from the Nutella, complemented by the creaminess of dairy and the alcohol warmth from vodka. The chilling period allows the flavors to marry, producing a smooth, velvety texture.

The liqueur can be poured into bottles and refrigerated for up to two weeks. For colder serving, it can be safely stored in the freezer if the bottle used is freezer safe, providing a refreshing, chilled experience. As a creamy drink, it should be shaken before serving to maintain even consistency.

Storing in an airtight container in the fridge preserves its freshness. Enjoy it in small quantities, as its sweetness and richness make for a distinctive treat typically enjoyed slowly.
