Homemade Dry BBQ Rub
Description
The Homemade Dry BBQ Rub combines dry mustard, smoked paprika, brown sugar, onion and garlic powders, black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, and dill seeds. These ingredients are mixed thoroughly to develop a dry spice blend that adds complexity to barbecue dishes.
The rub balances sweet and smoky elements with warmth from the spices and a subtle herbal note from dill seeds, suitable for dry seasoning. It can be stored in a sealed container away from light to maintain freshness.
This rub suits grilling, smoking, or roasting applications where a dry, flavorful crust is desired. It pairs well with pork ribs, chicken, beef brisket, or vegetables, imparting a layered taste profile without additional wet marinades.
