Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice
Report
Making your own homemade pumpkin pie spice is very simple and so much cheaper than buying it premixed.
Share:
Ingredients
- 1 ½ Tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- ½ teaspoon allspice
Instructions
- Mix all of the spices together in a bowl.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a year. I used an old small spice container and this recipe filled it perfectly.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a year.
- Allspice is the dried brown berry of the tropical Pimenta dioica tree and tastes like a mixture of cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. If you don’t happen to not have it on hand, you can simply mix ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon ground cloves, and a ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg to make your own spice blend of allspice flavors.
