Homemade Starbucks Pink Drink
Description
This pink drink features a base blend of white grape juice mixed with unsweetened coconut milk, which contributes a creamy mouthfeel without overpowering sweetness. The strawberry simple syrup, made by simmering diced strawberries with sugar and water until thickened, introduces natural fruit sweetness and aroma. Fresh sliced strawberries provide texture and garnish, enhancing presentation and flavor. The mixture is stirred together and poured over ice to create a chilled, light beverage.
The drink is suitable for warm-weather refreshment or as a fruit-forward non-caffeinated option. It can be customized by adjusting the syrup quantity for desired sweetness or swapping ingredients such as sweetened coconut milk or different fruit juices as per personal taste.
Notes provide flexibility for sweetener substitution including zero-calorie options, the use of freeze-dried strawberries in place of fresh, and alternatives like vanilla-flavored coconut milk or white cranberry juice to tweak flavor profiles. The recipe was updated to include these options compared to an earlier version which included acai berry tea. Proper storage of the syrup in the refrigerator for up to a week is suggested.

- Freeze-dried strawberries may be used instead of fresh for a different texture and flavor.
- Unsweetened coconut milk is called for, but sweetened or vanilla-flavored coconut milk can be used for added sweetness or vanilla notes.
- White grape juice can be substituted with white cranberry juice for a different fruity base.
- Strawberry simple syrup should be stored in the fridge and used within a week for best freshness.
