Honey Glazed Salmon Bowls (Quick & Easy!)

Salmon

  • 1 pound salmon filet cubed, skinless
  • salt to season
  • black pepper to season
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 garlic minced, cloves

Bowl

  • 1 cup carrot cooked and divided, shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli cooked and divided, florets
  • 1/4 cup green onion sliced
  • 2 cups white rice cooked and divided
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Salmon

  1. Cut 1 pound skinless salmon filet, into one-inch cubes and season with salt and pepper,.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, add 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup honey, and 3 garlic cloves,. Whisk together until smooth. Reserve 2 tablespoons of marinade to brush on the salmon during the cooking process.
  3. Add the salmon to the remaining marinade and toss to coat. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  4. Place the marinated salmon bites in a single layer into the air fryer. You may need to cook a couple of batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook at 390 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes.
  5. Open the air fryer and brush the reserved glaze on the salmon bites. Close the basket and cook for an additional 3 minutes. The internal temperature for salmon should be 125-130 degrees Fahrenheit.

To Assemble

  1. Enjoy the salmon over ½ cup of the 2 cups white rice, with some of the 1 cup shredded carrots,cooked 2 cups broccoli florets, and 1/4 cup green onion,.
  2. Garnish with sesame seeds, and a drizzle of additional soy sauce if desired.
