Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts

Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts combine roasted Brussels sprouts tossed in olive oil, salt, and pepper, finished with a sticky glaze of honey and Sriracha sauce. The roasting brings out caramelized notes and a tender texture, while the honey adds sweetness and the Sriracha provides a mild spicy kick, balancing savory and sweet elements in each bite.

Description

The recipe starts by trimming and halving the Brussels sprouts as needed for even roasting. Coated in olive oil and seasoned simply with sea salt and black pepper, the sprouts are roasted until crisp-tender and browned. After roasting, a mixture of honey and Sriracha is drizzled over them, creating a glossy, flavorful glaze. For extra crispiness, the sprouts can be returned to the oven briefly after glazing.

This side dish presents a textured contrast between tender centers and crispy edges accented by the sweet-spicy sauce. It pairs well with a variety of main dishes and can add dimension to weeknight meals or gatherings.

The recipe suggests adjusting the honey and Sriracha quantities to achieve preferred sweetness or heat levels and notes that leftovers can be refrigerated for up to three days.
