Hong Kong Milk Tea Popsicles

These Hong Kong Milk Tea Popsicles are a refreshing and delicious way to cool off in the summer heat. Iced milk tea on a stick!

Ingredients

  • 20 g black loose leaf tea Ceylon
  • 300 ml hot boiling water should equal 250ml (1 C) tea once strained
  • 50 ml sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Add tea leaves to a heat-resistant glass or jar.
  2. Bring water up to a boil and pour over the tea.
  3. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea. (Should have a total of 250ml of tea once the leaves are strained).
  5. Add the condensed milk into the tea and stir to combine.
  6. Cool the mixture.
  7. Pour the milk tea into popsicle molds and stick in a popsicle stick.
  8. Note: if using silicone popsicle molds, place the stick in first prior to pouring in the liquid.
  9. Freeze until solid, about 6-8 hours or overnight.
