Hot Fudge Cheesecake Bars

Hot Fudge Cheesecake Bars are an amazing dessert with a cream cheese filling and an Oreo crust. This is a chocolate lovers dream!

Ingredients

Crust Ingredients:

  • 1 package of Dark Chocolate filled Oreos crushed
  • 6 tbsp unsalted sweet cream butter melted
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt

Cheesecake Filling Ingredients:

  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 1/4 C brown sugar
  • 1/4 C hershey cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 C hot fudge sauce

Chocolate Ganache Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 C chocolate chips
  • 3/4 C heavy whipping cream
  • Toppings:
  • 1/2 c. chopped Oreos for garnish

Instructions

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 and line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Using a medium bowl, mix the crushed Oreos, melted butter and salt and mix until combined.
  3. Press into the baking dish.
  4. Using a hand mixer, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa powder until combined.
  5. Beat in eggs, one at a time until combined after each egg.
  6. Beat in the vanilla and salt until combined.
  7. Add hot fudge sauce until combined.
  8. Pour batter over the crust.
  9. Bake in the oven for 40 - 50 minutes or until the center slightly jiggles.
  10. Allow to cool completely.
  11. Using a small pot, bring the heavy whipping cream to a slight boil.
  12. Add the chocolate chips into a medium size heat-proof bowl.
  13. Add the heavy whipping cream to the bowl of chocolate chips.
  14. Allow to sit for one minute before whisking until smooth.
  15. Spread evenly over the cheesecake.
  16. Sprinkle chopped Oreos all over the top.
  17. Place into the fridge over night to allow the ganache to harden.
  18. Cut into bars and enjoy!
