Instructions
- Peel the garlic. Make sure to cut off the tough root end.
- Place the garlic in a single layer on a lined sheet pan. A little overlap is fine but avoid creating a pile on the sheet pan.
- Flash freeze the garlic cloves (covered or uncovered) for 2 to 3 hours, or until frozen. This depends on how cold you set your freezer.
- Transfer the frozen garlic cloves into a freezer-safe airtight container or bag. You can also vacuum seal them as well.
- Freeze for up to 6 months.
