Dessicated Liver Pills

  1. Slice raw liver into strips.
  2. Dry at 105 degrees for 36-72 hours until liver is dry and brittle.
  3. Place dried pieces in a blender, food processor, or spice grinder.  (I would only use something you can clean out well afterwards.)
  4. Put ground liver in capsules using a capsule maker (something I've been meaning to buy for a long time.)
  5. Store the pills in a sealed container.

Frozen Liver "Pills"

  1. Cut fresh or partially frozen liver into 1/4 or 1/2 inch cubes.
  2. Freeze in a single layer on a baking tray.
  3. Remove from freezer and place in freezer safe bag or other container.
  4. Store in freezer until ready to use.

Notes

  • Note that partially frozen liver is easier to cut than fresh liver, so I recommend using the partially frozen option.
