Iced Maple Pumpkin Pecan Streusel Muffins

Iced Maple Pumpkin Pecan Streusel Muffins are moist pumpkin muffins flavored with warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, topped with a crunchy pecan-oat streusel and finished with a smooth maple glaze. They combine tender crumb with textured toppings and a sweet drizzle.

Description

This recipe combines pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, and sugars with spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger to create a spiced muffin batter. All-purpose flour blends in for structure. Chopped pecans are mixed with butter, rolled oats, brown sugar, and salt to form a crumble streusel topping that adds texture and nutty flavor. The batter is portioned into muffin cups and sprinkled with the streusel before baking until golden and cooked through.

After cooling slightly, the muffins are iced with a glaze made from powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk, brought to a thick but drizzle-friendly consistency. The glaze adds sweetness and a subtle maple note complementing the pumpkin and spices. Baking at 350 degrees ensures a balanced moist muffin interior with a golden topping.
