Iced Matcha Latte
Description
This drink starts by sifting matcha powder to remove clumps, then whisking it vigorously with hot water until smooth and frothy. The matcha paste is combined with maple syrup poured over ice, then finished with milk to create an iced latte. Stirring brings all elements together, creating a balanced drink where the matcha's vegetal notes are mellowed by the creamy sweetness of the milk and syrup.
The Iced Matcha Latte is ideal for those who enjoy tea-based cold beverages with a mild caffeine boost. The recipe allows for adjusting the milk volume to taste and substituting non-dairy milk to suit dietary preferences or needs.
