Instant Pot Carrots
Report
If you love carrots, you will love instant pot carrots. Carrots are so easy to prep, and pressure cook and then taste amazing as a quick veggie for dinner time.
Share:
Ingredients
- 8 medium carrots
- salt & pepper
Kitchen Gadgets
- Instant Pot
- Trivet
- Steamer basket
Instructions
- Add 2 cups (480ml) of water into the instant pot, then add the trivet and the steamer basket. Peel and slice the carrots into medium chunks and add them to the steamer basket. Season the carrots well with salt and pepper.
- Place the lid on the instant pot, set the valve to sealing and steam carrots in instant pot for 3 minutes. Do a quick pressure release and do the fork test to make sure they are fork tender to your liking.
- Place on a dinner plate on a serving dish and serve.
Notes
- Mixed. If you would like different veggies you can add similar root veggies of a similar size to the instant pot at the same time. My favourite combo is carrot and swede.
