Instant Pot Corn On The Cob
Description
The Instant Pot Corn On The Cob recipe uses pressure cooking to prepare fresh corn efficiently. After husking, the corn is placed on a trivet above water and cooked under high pressure for just three minutes. This method steams the corn, retaining its juiciness and sweetness without becoming mushy.
Following the cooking cycle, a quick release of pressure prevents overcooking. The corn's texture is tender while kernels remain plump and moist. The recipe suggests serving the corn immediately plain to enjoy its pure flavor or dressing it with butter, lime juice, chili powder, chopped cilantro, and optionally Parmesan cheese for added zest and richness.
Serving freshly cooked corn can complement summer meals or be a side for various main dishes. The flavoring options allow customization based on preference, enhancing the natural sweetness without overwhelming it.
