Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 heaping tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. *Or use non stick cookie sheets
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt together. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add in the eggs, one at a time.
  5. Pour in the vanilla and stir until combined.
  6. Slowly pour flour mixture into butter mixture and stir until combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Drop dough by large spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet.
  9. Place in oven and bake until lightly browned, 10-11 minutes.
  10. Allow cookies to cool on pan 1 minute prior to removing and placing on cooling rack
  11. Continue process until all dough has been used. Enjoy!
