Keto Blue Cheese Dressing

Keto Blue Cheese Dressing combines blue cheese crumbles, sour cream, mayonnaise, heavy cream, garlic, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce into a creamy, tangy dressing. It blends robust blue cheese flavor with smooth, rich textures, making it a flavorful option for salads or as a dip. The food processor pulsing creates a dressing with visible blue cheese bits for texture.

Description

This Keto Blue Cheese Dressing recipe involves pulsing most ingredients—blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, heavy cream, chopped garlic, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper—in a food processor until well combined. The remaining portion of blue cheese is folded in to retain some distinct chunks and texture. The result is a thick, creamy dressing with the characteristic tang and sharpness of blue cheese balanced by acidity from lemon and vinegar.

The dressing is versatile for pairing with iceberg wedge salads or other leafy greens and can also serve as a dip. Using a food processor yields a smooth base with small blue cheese pieces distributed throughout, while whisking can be an alternative if a processor is unavailable, though grating the garlic finely is recommended to avoid raw chunks.

The dressing's rich, creamy consistency and bold flavor profile complement vegetables and meats, offering a satisfying condiment for keto or low-carb diets that include dairy.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 cup blue cheese divided, crumbles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 garlic roughly chopped, clove
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice fresh
  • 2 teaspoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients except for the ⅓ cup of the blue cheese, in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until well combined.  Mix in the remaining ⅓ cup of the blue cheese, just until combined.  That's it!
  2. Serve with an iceberg wedge or other salad of your choice.

Notes

  • If you don't have a food processor, whisk the ingredients together, grating garlic finely to avoid chunks.
  • This dressing works well as a dip or salad dressing, especially with iceberg wedges.
  • Use blue cheese crumbles in two portions: one blended smooth, one folded in for texture.
