  • 1 brick of konnyaku
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Fill a medium pot over halfway with water and put over high heat. Bring to a boil.
  2. Cut the konnyaku into whatever size you want, usually cubes about an inch large. Alternatively, you can plop in the entire block.
  3. Add the konnyaku to the boiling water and wait for the water to return to a boil.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes then remove from heat.
  5. Drain the konnyaku or remove from the pot with a slotted spoon.
  6. You can immediately add it to whatever dish you are making or store it in the fridge until you are ready.
