Lemon Garlic Marinated Chicken Tenders
Description
This recipe marinates chicken tenders in a mixture of olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice and zest, honey, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning made from dried herbs or a blend of garlic powder, basil, and oregano. The tenders absorb these bright and savory flavors during marination, which lasts at least 30 minutes and can extend to 8 hours for stronger taste. The chicken is cooked quickly over medium-high heat on a grill or grill pan until done and lightly charred.
The result is juicy, flavored chicken tenders that can be served as a main dish, incorporated in wraps or salads, or as a snack. Chopped fresh parsley sprinkled before serving adds color and fresh herbal notes.
The recipe can also adapt to chicken thighs or breasts. Longer marination enhances flavor, and additional seasonings can be added to suit personal preferences.
