Lightened Up Buffalo Chicken Dip
Description
This dip balances richness and tang by blending Greek yogurt, softened reduced-fat cream cheese, and buffalo sauce. Adding shredded cooked chicken and fat-free feta cheese creates a creamy, protein-rich filling with a mildly spicy and tangy profile. Baking the mixture until bubbling melds the flavors and heats the dip through. The simplicity of mixing and baking makes for straightforward preparation.
Lightened Up Buffalo Chicken Dip is typically served warm with tortilla chips, carrot sticks, or celery for dipping, providing a flavorful appetizer or snack with reduced fat compared to traditional versions.
The recipe can be adapted for dairy-free by substituting dairy-free cream cheese and feta. It can also be cooked in a Crock Pot on high for 1.5 to 2 hours until hot.
