- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup walnuts chopped

Instructions

- Stir in the walnuts and maple extract
- Spread the mixture in the prepared pan
- Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours
Notes
- Lightly oil your pan before lining it with parchment paper. This will keep the parchment in place.
- Omit the nuts altogether in the case of tree nut allergies. The fudge will still be delicious.
- Lightly oil your pan before lining it with parchment paper. This will keep the parchment in place.
- This microwave fudge will not set as hard as the old fashioned fudge version. It will be a little softer and for best results, you should keep it in the fridge until serving or snacking.
- Your fudge will keep in the fridge, in an air tight container for up to 2 weeks.
- To freeze, slice the fudge after it has set and put the pieces on a parchment lined baking sheet. Put the tray in the freezer until the pieces have hardened. Transfer the flash frozen fudge pieces to an air tight freezer container or bag. Store in the freezer for up to 6 months.
