Maple Glazed Pecans

Maple Glazed Pecans are pecan halves coated in a mixture of pure maple syrup, vanilla extract, and fine sea salt, then cooked until the syrup caramelizes and coats the nuts evenly. The result is crunchy, sweet, and slightly salty glazed pecans that can be served as a snack, salad topping, or dessert garnish. Cooling on parchment prevents sticking and preserves the glaze.

Description

This recipe heats pure maple syrup, vanilla extract, and fine sea salt together in a skillet, then pecan halves are folded in to coat thoroughly. The mixture is cooked over medium heat with constant stirring until the syrup thickens and caramelizes, adhering to the pecans with a glossy glaze. This process takes about five minutes and creates a sweet yet slightly salty coating that enhances the natural flavor of the nuts.

After cooking, the pecans are spread onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool and set. Once cooled, the pecans become crunchy and can be stored in an airtight container to maintain their crispness.

Maple glazed pecans make a versatile addition to snacking, baked goods, or salads, adding texture and a touch of sweetness.
