Ingredients
- 4 lb chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix 1 ounce
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix 1 ounce
- 1/2 cup butter 1 stick
- 6-8 Pepperoncini peppers
- 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice from the jar
Instructions
Get Prepped
- Measure out the ranch seasoning mix, au jus gravy mix (if using from a jar instead of 1oz envelopes).
- Cut the butter into pieces, measure out ¼ cup pepperoncini juice and grab 6-8 pepperoncinis from the jar.
Prepare the roast
- Place the roast in the slow cooker. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the roast.
Add remaining ingredients
- Place the butter pieces on top of the roast. Arrange the pepperoncini peppers around the roast and pour the pepperoncini juice over the top.
Cook the roast
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
Serve
- Shred the beef with two forks, mixing it with the juices in the slow cooker.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
