Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water , 110-115 degrees
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries , chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts , chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl add the yeast and warm water, stirring well.
  2. Add in the flour, sugar, cranberries, walnuts, olive oil, and salt, stirring well until shaggy and combined.
  3. Grease an 9x13-inch baking pan and add in the dough.
  4. Cover, let rise in warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough, then reshape and cover again.
  6. Let rise for 1 hour.
  7. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  8. Add a pan of water to the bottom rack.
  9. Sprinkle the top with flour, bake for 20 minutes.
  10. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 20 minutes.
