Oatmeal Breakfast Bars

Oatmeal Breakfast Bars combine quick oats, applesauce, and almond milk with dried cranberries and chocolate chips for a chewy, mildly sweet snack. The use of flaxseed and coconut oil adds a subtle depth and moisture to the bars. Baking in a single dish keeps preparation simple and yields a set of grab-and-go bars suitable for a morning meal or snack.

Description

Oatmeal Breakfast Bars offer a straightforward mix of oats, fruit, and flavorings like cinnamon and vanilla, baked into a firm but tender bar. The combination includes quick oats along with maple syrup and applesauce for natural sweetness and moisture. Adding dried cranberries and chocolate chips brings bursts of tartness and chocolate flavor throughout the bars.

Baked at 350°F in an 8x8 pan, these bars develop a slightly golden surface while remaining soft inside. The ground flaxseed and coconut oil contribute to the texture, helping bind and add richness without heaviness. Once cooled and cut, the bars make convenient snacks or a portable breakfast.

The recipe provides a balanced blend of ingredients easy to prepare without special equipment. These bars store well once cooled and can be topped with extra dried cranberries and chocolate chips to enhance appearance and add texture.
