Oatmeal Smoothie
Description
This smoothie mixes frozen banana chunks with rolled oats, almond or oat milk, vanilla protein powder, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a high-powered blender. The result is a velvety drink where oats contribute mild chewiness and thickening, balancing the natural creaminess of banana and the subtle spice from cinnamon and vanilla. Additional milk can be added to reach the desired consistency.
The recipe requires minimal preparation and offers a wholesome option for those seeking a nutrient-rich smoothie with fiber and protein. It can be enjoyed on its own or topped with preferred smoothie garnishes.
Ingredients
- 1 banana chopped into chunks, frozen
- ½ cup almond milk or oat milk, plus more as needed to reach desired consistency, unsweetened
- 3 Tablespoons rolled oats old fashioned
- 1 coop (25 grams) protein powder I used Nuzest, vanilla
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract pure
Instructions
- Place banana, milk, oats, protein powder, cinnamon, and vanilla in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk.
- Pour into a glass or bowl (depending on whether you want to use a spoon or straw) and top with your favorite smoothie toppings.
