  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ginger minced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced ginger and garlic, sauté until fragrant and golden, about 1 minute.
  2. Add orange juice, sugar, rice vinegar, and soy sauce to the saucepan. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add red pepper flakes if using.
  3. In a small separate bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Pour the mixture into the saucepan, stirring constantly to avoid clumping. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 5-10 minutes.
