Orange Crush Cake (3-ingredients)

Orange Crush Cake is a simple, three-ingredient dessert made by combining white cake mix with orange soda to form a batter baked and topped with Cool Whip. Garnished with maraschino cherries, it offers a moist cake with a light citrus flavor and creamy topping.

Description

The Orange Crush Cake begins with mixing a boxed white cake mix and a full can of orange soda to create a batter that requires no eggs or oil. Baking the batter in a sprayed 8x8 pan yields a moist cake infused with orange soda’s citrus and sweetness. Once cooled, the cake is frosted evenly with Cool Whip for a light and creamy contrast to the textured cake. Chilling the frosted cake in the refrigerator allows it to firm up before slicing. Serving each slice topped with a maraschino cherry adds a pop of color and sweetness that complements the citrus tones. This cake combines the convenience of boxed cake mix with a soda twist, resulting in a distinctive flavor with minimal preparation and ingredients.
