Party Nuts

Party Nuts consist of a mix of raw almonds, walnuts, pecans, and cashews coated with a blend of maple syrup, sea salt, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and fresh rosemary. Roasting this mixture brings out the nuts' natural oils and infuses them with savory, sweet, and spicy flavors, resulting in a crunchy snack with aromatic herb notes.

Description

This Party Nuts recipe uses an equal mix of almonds, walnuts, pecans, and cashews tossed with a seasoned coating made from maple syrup, coarse sea salt, cayenne, cinnamon, and finely chopped fresh rosemary. The mixture is spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet and roasted at 350°F, allowing the nuts to brown slightly and the flavors to intensify.

The roasting process develops a crunchy texture while the maple syrup caramelizes around the nuts, balancing the spices' warmth with a touch of sweetness. Rosemary adds a fragrant herbal lift, making these nuts more complex and savory compared to plain roasted nuts.

Once cooled, the nuts can be served as a snack or party appetizer and stored at room temperature in a sealed container to maintain freshness. This recipe suits those seeking a flavorful and textured nut mix with a balance of sweet, spicy, and herby notes.
