Ingredients
- 4 ripe pears
- 1 Cups Water or Ice cubes or 1/2 cup of each
- 1 tablespoon sweetener optional, use honey, maple syrup or sugar, adjust to taste
- 1/2 lemon or lime juiced
Instructions
- Wash the pears thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or residue. Then, peel the pears and remove the cores and seeds.
- Cut the peeled and cored pears into smaller pieces for easier blending.
- In a blender, combine the chopped pears, water, sweetener of your choice (honey, maple syrup, or sugar), and the juice of half a lemon or lime.
- Optionally, strain the pear juice through a fine mesh strainer to remove any pulp or solids.
- Transfer the strained pear juice to a pitcher or serving glass. Enjoy your freshly made pear juice!
Notes
- Choose ripe pears: Pick ripe pears, as they'll be sweeter and juicier.
- Strain for smoothness: If you prefer your juice without pulp, strain it through a fine strainer.
- Store properly: Keep any leftover juice in a sealed container in the fridge for up to a few days.
