Pepperoni Cheesy Bread
Description
The recipe starts by slicing hoagie rolls into thick sections while keeping them intact in the center. A mixture of olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic salt, and optional red pepper flakes is brushed onto the bread, infusing flavor into the crust. Shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses are layered with slices of pepperoni, creating a combination of creamy melted cheese and spiced cured meat.
Baking at 350°F for about 15-18 minutes melts the cheeses and crisps the bread's edges, resulting in a warm, flavorful, and satisfying bread dish. The garlic and Italian seasoning complement the pepperoni's spiciness.
Serve Pepperoni Cheesy Bread as a snack, appetizer, or alongside salads and soups. It offers a combination of texture with crunchy crust and gooey interior, suitable for sharing or casual meals.
