Pesto Cheesy Bread
Description
This Pesto Cheesy Bread starts with large hoagie rolls sliced into thick portions while remaining connected in the center. Pesto sauce is brushed inside, soaking the bread with basil and garlic notes. Mozzarella provides pull-apart gooeyness, and Parmesan adds a nutty, sharp contrast. Baking at 350°F crisps the outer bread and melts the cheese, creating a satisfying combination of textures.
The bread is best served warm alongside marinara or pizza sauce for dipping, which adds a tangy complement to the cheesy, herbed bread. The recipe is straightforward and relies on layering to achieve flavorful results.
Ingredients
- 2 hoagie rolls large
- 1/2 cup pesto sauce
- 2 cup mozzarella cheese , shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese , shredded
- marinara sauce for serving, or pizza sauce

- Slice the two hoagie rolls into 2-inch wide portions but leave it attached in the middle.
- Brush pesto sauce onto the bread.
- Top the bread with the mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese and bake until crispy, about 15-18 minutes.
