Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Bread
Description
This Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Bread recipe combines seasoned ribeye steak seared quickly for a tender bite, enhanced with Worcestershire sauce to deepen the flavor. After removing the steak, sautéed green peppers, onions, and mushrooms are cooked with butter, salt, and pepper until browned. The mixture is assembled on French bread halves spread with mayonnaise, layered with provolone cheese both beneath and atop the steak and vegetables.
Baking at 375°F melts the cheese and crisps the bread edges, creating a flavorful sandwich-style bread with juicy steak and tender vegetables. The provolone contributes a mild, creamy texture that complements the savory fillings.
This dish works well served warm for casual meals or gatherings, offering a shareable and easy-to-eat option with familiar cheesesteak flavors on a crispy bread base.
