Pineapple Mojito

The Pineapple Mojito is a refreshing cocktail blending muddled fresh pineapple chunks and lime with mint leaves, white rum, sugar-free simple syrup, and soda water. The muddling releases fresh fruit juices and mint oils, creating a vibrant base. The drink is served over ice and provides a tropical twist on the classic mojito with a balance of sweetness, citrus brightness, and herbal freshness.

Description

This Pineapple Mojito features muddled fresh pineapple pieces combined with lime slices and fresh mint leaves to release their juices and aromatic oils. White rum and a sugar-free simple syrup sweeten the mixture, which is then topped with soda water for fizz. The cocktail is built directly in a glass over ice for easy preparation.

The muddling process blends the tropical sweetness of pineapple with the sharpness of lime and the cooling presence of mint. The use of sugar-free simple syrup allows control over sweetness without added sugars. Soda water adds effervescence, lightening the drink. This cocktail highlights fresh ingredients for a crisp, lively flavor suited to warm weather or social occasions.

Adding pineapple chunks as garnish enhances the drink's visual appeal and emphasizes its tropical notes. The recipe provides a simple method for making homemade sugar-free simple syrup by simmering water and sugar alternative until dissolved, ensuring easy customization.
