Potatoes Au Gratin

Potatoes Au Gratin made with russet potatoes in a seasoned parmesan sauce assembled in layers is surprisingly easy to make, and your guests will love it!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper coarse ground
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 6 large russet potato peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray an 8x8 baking dish with vegetable oil spray.
  2. In a large bowl whisk together the heavy cream, egg, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  3. Add potatoes to your baking dish and carefully pour the custard over the potatoes.
  4. Bake, uncovered, for 45-50 minutes.
