  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate protein powder
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl add the oats, peanut butter, maple syrup, chia seeds, chocolate protein powder, and dark chocolate chips. Mix well until all ingredients are blended.
  2. Cover bowl and place in refrigerator for an hour.
  3. Scoop the ingredients with a cookie scoop and roll in your hands until a ball is formed. You may need to press firmly to get a solid ball to form.
  4. Keep in the refrigerator in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Any nut butter can replace peanut butter; sunflower butter works well as a substitute.
  • Chia seeds can be swapped with flax seeds according to preference.
  • Use semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of dark chocolate chips if desired.
  • Store protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
