Ingredients
- 6 Slices Texas Toast bread
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ¾ cup pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

Instructions
- Add eggs, milk, pumpkin, and pumpkin pie spice to a large mixing bowl. Whisk together until well combined.
- Cut each slice of bread into 4 strips. (We used Texas toast, but you can use any type of thick sliced bread.)
- Dip each bread stick into the pumpkin batter and turn until the entire bread surface is fully coated.
- In a skillet over medium heat, spray or coat with butter, and cook the French toast sticks for 3-4 minutes per side. When both sides are a rich golden brown, the French toast sticks should be cooked through.
- Remove from pan and sprinkle with powdered sugar (optional) and serve with warm syrup. Enjoy warm as a festive fall breakfast or dessert!
