Raisin Walnut Bread Recipe (Bread Machine)

-Makes 1 1/2 LB-

  • 2 ts yeast
  • 2 1/4 c bread flour
  • 1/4 c walnuts
  • 1/4 c golden raisins
  • 1 ts salt
  • 1 1/2 ts sugar
  • 1/3 c whole wheat flour
  • 2 tb oat bran
  • 1/3 c rye flour
  • 1/2 ts walnut extract
  • 1 c water warm

Makes 1 LB

  • 1 1/2 ts yeast
  • 1 1/2 c bread flour
  • 2 tb walnuts
  • 2 tb golden raisins
  • 1/2 ts salt
  • 1 ts sugar
  • 1/4 c whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 tb oat bran
  • 1/4 c rye flour
  • 1/4 ts walnut extract
  • 6 1/2 oz water warm

Instructions

  1. Measure all the ingredients and set aside the raisins and walnuts and place into bread machine baking pan.
  2. Insert pan into the bread machine.
  3. Select the Sweet Cycle.
  4. Add walnuts and raisins when the "add ingredient" signal come on.
  5. Once raisin walnut bread is baked, remove from pan and cool.
  6. Cool the loaf to room temperature for 45 minutes before slicing.
