Description
Raspberry Lychee Fizz combines fresh raspberries and peeled lychees blended together to form a smooth puree that imparts both tart and sweet flavors. Mixing this puree with lychee syrup gives a depth of sweetness balanced by the sparkling water's natural fizz and bubbles, resulting in a refreshing and crisp texture. Adding ice keeps the drink cool and slightly dilutes it for a balanced taste. The optional rose water offers a gentle aromatic note that complements the fruit flavors.

Ingredients
- 170 g raspberries 1 punnet, fresh
- 8 lychees peeled, fresh
- 1-2 tablespoon lychee syrup
- 1 C ice
- sparkling water carbonated water
Flavour variation:
- ¼ teaspoon rose water optional
Instructions
- Blend the raspberries and lychees together in a blender, until smooth.
- Pour 1-2 tablespoon of lychee syrup into a tall glass (or to taste).
- Add 4 tablespoon of the raspberry-lychee puree to the glass.
- Add in ice cubes.
- Top the glass off with sparkling water.
- Stick in a straw, give it a stir and enjoy immediately.
Flavour variation:
- Add ¼ teaspoon rose water to the drink.
Notes
- This recipe yields enough raspberry-lychee puree for 4 to 6 servings.
- Adjust the amount of lychee syrup to suit your preferred sweetness level.
- Add the sparkling water right before serving to retain its carbonation.
