Ingredients
Biscuits
- 4 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick)
- 4 oz cheddar cheese grated
- 1 1/3 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
Topping
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the baking mix, cheese, buttermilk, the 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Mix until the dough is combined. Use a scoop to scoop balls of batter onto the baking sheet. Place them a couple of inches apart.
- Bake the biscuits until they are golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
- While the biscuits are baking, combine the remaining 1/2 cup of melted butter with the Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, dried parsley, onion powder and salt.
- When the biscuits are done, remove from the oven and immediately brush the melted butter mixture.
- Serve warm.
