Red White And Blue Fruit Salad

Make this easy patriotic fresh fruit salad with everyday ingredients

  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • ½ watermelon
  • 3 apples (firm ones)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Slice the watermelon and apples into half inch thick slices.
  2. Cut out the star shapes using different size cutters and add to a large bowl.
  3. Make salad dressing by mixing lemon juice and maple syrup until combined in a small bowl.
  4. Add salad dressing to salad, toss and adjust sweetness if needed.
  5. Serve immediately or chill for a few hours before serving.
