Reese's Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream
Description
The recipe starts by blending milk, peanut butter powder, vanilla protein powder, vanilla extract, and liquid sweetener until smooth. The mixture is then frozen in a Ninja Creami pint container for 8-12 hours. After freezing, it undergoes one cycle of the Lite Ice Cream setting to create a creamy texture.
Add-ins of chopped Reese's candies and additional milk are mixed into the ice cream during the machine's mix-in cycle, providing texture and chocolate-peanut butter flavor throughout. Optional toppings include whipped cream, extra Reese’s pieces, and chocolate syrup for added richness and garnish.
The ice cream can be softened by multiple re-spins if desired, with care taken to avoid icy edges by briefly warming the container before processing. Substitutions like fat free or almond milk require adding cream cheese or cottage cheese to maintain creaminess. The mix should not be overfilled as it expands during processing.
This dessert is tailored for Ninja Creami users wanting a protein-rich ice cream with the familiar combination of vanilla and peanut butter chocolate treats.
