Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs fresh broccoli 1-2 crowns, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • 2 garlic cloves grated
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and trim the broccoli so the florets are similar in size. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, grated garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the broccoli florets and toss to coat the veggies with the seasoning.
  4. Spread the broccoli onto the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until the florets are tender and the edges golden brown.
  5. Remove the roasted broccoli from the oven, transfer the cooked broccoli back into the large bowl, and toss it with the grated parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
