Roasted Green Bean with Parmesan

These green beans with Parmesan come together super fast and they are roasted, not fried.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 lb fresh green beans washed, ends trimmed

Instructions

Prep:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Season:

  1. In a small bowl, combine parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and salt.
  2. Place green beans on lined pan, tightly grouped together but not laying on top of each other. Generously sprinkle seasoned parmesan on top of green beans.

Bake:

  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the Parmesan has browned and the green beans are crispy.
  2. Remove from oven and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use frozen green beans (about a 1lb bag). If so, thaw out green beans either on the counter or microwave and proceed with recipe.
