Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Roasted Sweet Potatoes glazed with a maple syrup and butter mixture deliver tender, caramelized chunks with a subtly sweet and savory flavor. The addition of spices like paprika and garlic powder enhances their warmth, while a parsley garnish adds fresh color. This side dish pairs well with many meals and has a golden, appealing finish.

Description

This recipe features peeled sweet potato chunks coated in a glaze of olive oil, melted butter, maple syrup, light brown sugar, and a seasoning blend including paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. The sweet potatoes are roasted in a single layer at 400°F to achieve tender interiors and caramelized exteriors.

The mix of sugars and butter in the glaze helps create a sticky, flavorful coating that accentuates the sweet potatoes' natural sugars. The spices add mild depth without overpowering. Roasting for 30 to 40 minutes with occasional turning ensures even cooking and browning.

These sweet potatoes are served warm and garnished with chopped parsley to provide a fresh visual contrast. They make a rich, satisfying side suitable for autumn and winter menus.
