Rosé Sangria

Rosé Sangria mixes dry rosé wine, brandy, Chambord, and agave nectar with fresh berries to create a fruity, lightly sweetened drink. The combination mellows with refrigeration, and topping glasses with sparkling water adds effervescence. This sangria highlights berry flavors alongside the rosé’s brightness and is suited for chilled serving occasions.

Description

The Rosé Sangria recipe blends dry rosé wine with brandy and Chambord, a black raspberry liqueur, and sweetens with agave nectar. Freshly sliced strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries add natural fruitiness and color. After combining and chilling the mixture for at least an hour or up to a day, individual servings are finished with sparkling water for light bubbles and refreshing texture.

This sangria combines the light, floral notes of rosé with the berry-rich depth of Chambord and fresh fruit, resulting in a cooling, mildly sweet beverage. It's designed for leisurely sipping, especially in warm weather or at gatherings.

Using rosé ice cubes can chill the sangria without diluting it. Smaller bottles of Chambord or brandy allow portion control if less liquor is preferred.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 2 ml dry rosé in bottles
  • 1/3 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup Chambord
  • 3 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries sliced
  • 6 ounces raspberry
  • 6 ounces blackberry
  • sparkling water to top off each drink before serving

Instructions

  1. Mix the rosé, Chambord, brandy and agave together in a pitcher, then add the fruit.
  2. Refrigerate at least 1 hour and up to 1 day. Top off each glass with sparkling water before serving.

Notes

  • Freeze rosé wine in ice cube trays to create rosé ice cubes that chill the sangria without watering it down.
  • Smaller bottles of Chambord or brandy can be used for precise portions and to avoid excess liquor in the sangria.
