A grown-up twist on my beloved traditional Irish Bread and Butter Pudding, my Rum Raisin Bread and Butter Pudding recipe has even more raisins and I soak them in a bit of rum.

- ¾ cup raisins 3 ¾ oz/106 g
- ¼ cup dark rum 2 fl oz/57 ml
- 8 lices white bread crusts on, 10 oz/280 g
- ¼ cup butter softened, 2oz/57g
- 4 large egg
- 1/3 cup brown sugar 2 oz/57 g
- 2 cups milk 16 oz/450 ml
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
