Salmon Tartare with Apple, Cucumber and Radish Salad
Description
The Salmon Tartare starts by carefully deboning and skinning fresh salmon before dicing it finely. It is then marinated with soy sauce and mandarin juice, imparting a gentle citrus tang and umami flavor. The salad incorporates thin sticks of green apple, cucumber, and radish, adding a crisp texture and mild sweetness and peppery notes that contrast with the tender, rich salmon.
Serving the salad atop the salmon tartare creates a harmonious balance of textures and tastes, combining creamy fish with crunchy vegetables. This dish is often enjoyed chilled as a starter or light lunch.
