Ingredients
- 8 lices telera bread or four pan de agua rolls (see notes above)
- ½ pound pork roast shredded, cooked
- 8 lices cheddar cheese
- 2 tomato sliced
- 16 lices pickle optional
- butter to taste, salted
- mustard to taste (optional)
- ketchup to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare
- Preheat a panini press or skillet over medium high heat.Unless you are using Telera slices, slice the bread rolls.
2. Assemble
- Butter just one side of four slices of bread. Spread the other four slices of bread with mustard to taste and reserve.Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each buttered slice. Arrange four pickles on it. Top with a quarter of the pulled pork and top it with ketchup. Place tomato slices on top and cover with another slice of cheese. Cover them with the side of the bread with mustard.
Grill
- Toast the sandwich in the panini press or in the pan, press, and grill on each side until golden brown and the cheese melts.Remove and serve right away.
