Shrimp Salad Sliders
Description
This recipe calls for finely chopped shrimp blended with ingredients such as mayonnaise, cream cheese, celery, red onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and fresh dill for fresh herbaceous notes. The mixture is spread evenly over the bottom halves of Hawaiian rolls placed in a baking pan. The rolls are brushed with a butter blend seasoned with garlic powder and red pepper flakes before assembly and again after topping with the slider tops. Baking at 350°F melts the cheeses and toasts the buns to a golden finish, resulting in warm, soft sliders with a savory and slightly spicy seafood filling.
The sliders' texture balances the creamy filling with the slight crispness of the toasted rolls. The shrimp's mild flavor is enhanced by the tangy mustard and lemon and softened by the cream cheese. The buttery, garlicky topping adds richness and a subtle kick from the red pepper flakes.
These sliders work well as an appetizer or party snack, offering a handheld seafood option with refreshing herbs and creamy elements. They can be served warm and cut individually for easy sharing.
